Key Job Descriptions 3.2.1 Lead a team and responsible of in-situ maintenance activity i.e. Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Proactive Maintenance (PRM) and Reactive Maintenance (REM) for offshore pedestal and jib crane. 3.2.2 Application of Permit to Work (PTW) applicants. 3.2.3 Develop or evaluate non-critical and standard lifting plans. 3.2.4 Supervise in-situ critical lifts and non-standard lifts as per approved lifting plan. 3.2.5 Diagnose and troubleshoot offshore pedestal and jib crane problems in-situ. Shall cover overall scope of offshore pedestal and jib crane, such as diesel engine, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motors, wire rope condition and replacement, electrical components, winches and winch components, sheaves and bearings, hydraulic control valves, hydraulic hoses and fittings, electrical and mechanical accessories, and other components deemed related. 3.2.6 Prepare and submit daily progress report (DPR) and activity completion report for each maintenance activity as stated in Scope of Work. 3.2.7 Prepare and submit in-situ parts replacement and parts recommendation list to the COMPANY. Minimum Qualifications 3.3.1 Personnel to possess as minimum: a. Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), or b. Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM) (Mechanical), or c. Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM), or d. Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR), or Sijil Rendah Pelajaran Malaysia (SRP), or Sijil Tamat Sekolah. - Higher education certificates are encouraged. 3.3.2 Proficiency in writing, speaking and reading Bahasa Malaysia and English. 3.3.3 Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel. 3.3.4 Possess valid PCSB PTW certification training (encouraged). 3.3.5 Possess valid Rigging and Slinging certificate. 3.3.6 Minimum five (5) years' experience (recent) working experience as a Crane Technician in offshore pedestal and jib crane maintenance. 3.3.7 Well trained and knowledgeable in lifting, rigging and slinging activities and should be available as a resource and consultant to the COMPANY. 3.3.8 Possess a certificate of competency, or completion, participation of any training for mechanical/electrical component related to offshore pedestal & jib crane from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), or their appointed agents, or any certified training center e.g. for wire rope, hydraulic pumps and motors, diesel engine, safe load indicator and etc. The training included are, but not limited to On-the-Job training, classroom & practical session, or online classes. 3.3.9 Able to read and understand offshore pedestal and jib crane hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drawing. 3.3.10 Able to understand relevant manufacturers' technical manual. 3.3.11 Skilled in aspects of offshore pedestal and jib crane operations, inspections and maintenance.
