PATIENT SERVICES ASSOCIATE

• Ensure all patients are being attended to in a prompt and friendly manner. • Ensures efficient management of the consultant’s clinic room. Responsible for preparation and readiness of the clinic before commencement of each session. • Organized all autoclavable instruments to be sent to CSSD at the end of each clinic session. • Ensures medical notes and reports of all investigations for patients on appointment list are available before commencement of each clinic session. • Ensures standing orders and investigations to be performed prior to consultation are carried and the reports are available before the medical practitioner attends to the patient. • Chaperons the medical practitioner, especially with patients, during physical examination and gynaecological procedures. • Takes patient’s observations as required. • Provides personalized care to the patients and relatives by ensuring their comfort, and prepared the patient for examination by the medical practitioner. • Assists the medical practitioner in clinical diagnostic / therapeutic procedures performed in the clinic.
