Qualified and experienced Consultants for the SCOPE OF WORKS which shall include but shall not be limited to the following: (a) Provision of technical advice in pre-survey planning of drilling/platform/clearance site investigation, pipeline and cable route and refraction surveys operation. This shall include the preparation of tender and contract documents. (b) Review of the methodologies and procedures for geophysical (MBES & SBP) survey, geochemical seabed sampling, seafloor heat flow (HF) measurements and sample analysis. To propose improvement or alternative techniques/procedures (if necessary) to ensure efficient survey operation and high data quality are obtained. (c) Review all potential constraints to the survey operations and propose suitable acquisition parameters, systems and techniques to be used to ensure effective and efficient implementation of data acquisition operations. (d) Provision of technical advice in selecting the parameters for seismic data processing based on the operational constraints/ problems experienced during the survey operations. (e) Provision of training, in terms of briefings and discussions, advice and explanation to COMPANY's personnel and trainees, etc. on geophysical activities or operations. (f) Conduct technical studies and reviews of Geophysical contract specifications and also to propose standard guidelines for the QC Supervision of any geophysical operations. (g) Provide a brief description, results, findings and project presentation upon project completion to COMPANY. Content as per agreed by COMPANY. (h) Conduct Specialized Studies (i.e. Interpretation work for Shallow Gas Hazards, problems in data processing, etc.). Field Assignments: Qualified and experienced Consultants for the SCOPE OF WORKS which shall include but shall not be limited to the following: (a) On-site supervision and quality control of field operations of Shallow and Deepwater Marine Geohazards/Site Investigation Survey - (analogue and digital) for drilling, jacket and platform sites, pipeline and cable route, seabed geochemical sampling and etc. (b) Ensure works are performed in accordance with COMPANY's technical specifications as per contract. (c) Conduct pre-mobilization technical inspection and witness all verification and calibration activities. Review and verify calibration reports prior to the commencement of survey data acquisition. (d) Ensure that all equipment performance including the recording, source and receivers are compliant to instrument Quality Assurance tests according to the manufacturers’ specification before the commencement of the survey as well as during the survey operations. (e) Monitor the seismic contractor’s overall performance based on the contract’s specifications and requirements and the agreed schedule. (f) Approve acquired data as acceptable and complete to be processed. (g) Liaise with facilities personnel in regard to Permit To Work (PTW), in the absence of COMPANY SITE REPRESENTATIVE. (h) Provision of advice and explanation to COMPANY's field representative(s) on all relevant aspects of geophysical survey. (i) Provision of consultancy and knowledge transfer to COMPANY’s On Job Trainee (OJT) on all aspects of geophysical survey and geochemistry sampling. (j) Provision of daily written summaries of the survey operations, including details of line productions and specifying the rationales for decisions taken with regard to the survey operations. Consultant is required to use laptop type computer complete for reporting, logistical control and analysis of survey data. (k) Provision of a complete technical and operation survey report at the completion of survey works. The report(s) shall include an analysis/assessment of technical performance of the recorded data and equipment during the acquisition, complete logs that highlight the operation status and problems and statistics of the survey operations. (l) QC Supervision of the geohazards data processing at the processing centers designated by COMPANY. (m) Review and interpretation of geochemical analysis results and selection of sample for advanced analysis (i.e. carbon isotope & GCMS analysis). 2.1.2 Personnel Experiences The personnel for the SCOPE OF WORKS shall be professionally qualified and widely experienced. The qualifications and experience necessary shall include but not limited to the following: Working Experience: a) Must have experience in handling more than ten (10) marine geohazards projects as geophysical QC Consultant for the last five (5) years. b)One (1) Geophysical Consultant with experience in handling more than two (2) refraction survey projects (Shallow Water Marine Geohazards category) as Geophysical QC Consultant for the last five (5) years OR One (1) Geophysical Consultant with experience in handling more than five (5) deep water marine geohazards projects (Deep Water Marine Geohazards category) as Geophysical QC Consultant for the last ten (10) years OR One (1) Geophysical Consultant with experience in handling more than five (5) seabed geochemistry projects (Seabed Geochemical Survey category) as Geophysical QC Consultant for the last seven (7) years OR One (1) Geophysical Consultant with experience in handling more than two (2) unmanned surface vehicles (USV) projects (Nearshore & River USV Survey category) as Geophysical QC Consultant for the last five (5) years. Education Background (Shallow & Deepwater): Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Geophysics, or other related field and have minimum ten (10) years of experiences in the industry
