Production Assistant (Robotic Welding)

1.1. Assist production supervisor or engineer on daily production activities. 1.2. Identify machine for tooling set-up, arrangement of manpower and acquire sufficient material to affect production processes. 1.3. Report irregularities of machine performance, tooling breakdown and other matters affecting the progress of production to the supervisor or engineer for remedial actions. 1.4. Ensure proper storage of tooling and WIP parts at designated area and the up keeping of tooling in good condition. 1.5. Ensure working area shall be cleared of parts upon completion of the process before commencing process of the subsequent process. 1.6. To ensure '5S' implementation at production area 1.7 To ensure safety requirement fulfillment at production area 1.8 Other task assigned by superior • To generate, test, and modify programs that direct the actions of robotic equipment. • Responsible for whole robotic welding department and ensure production run smoothly within targeted completion date. • Work with engineers in identification of future automation assignments and streamlining of current work processes. • To create prototypes and work on necessary components (e.g. microprocessors), perform integration tests and quality control. • Assist to monitor process of running robot and train operators to properly run robot. • To troubleshoot defects in the robot design. • To analyse drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing or assembly requirements before programming the equipment. • To create and maintain complete documentation for robotic systems. • Take initiative to meet challenging project timelines and hour budgets. • To coordinate, implement and verify off-line programming efforts and online implementation of programming. • To perform any ad hoc task that assigned by Management.
