Design Engineer

1. Responsible for the Design and Engineering operations-manufacturing of cleaning PIGs and accessories and precision parts. 2. To assist Production Manager to prepare conceptual design and design of moulds and jigs, cleaning PIGs and other PIG and PU related products. 3. Responsible for production of cleaning PIGs, their accessories and precision parts from design, procurement, assembly to delivery. 4. Responsible to prepare technical drawings of moulds and jigs for the production of Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) PU products. The job involves creating product and taking each project from concept through the visual, technical aspects of design, manufacturability and packaging 5. Responsible to prepare technical drawing of PIG and PIG accessories. Responsible to create and modify 2D and 3D models as and when required. 7. Responsible to develop and design new products. 8. Responsible to prepare estimates, costing and pricing of precision parts to be manufactured in-house based on the technical drawings and designs provided by clients. 9. Responsible to estimate, sourcing and acquisition of all raw materials required for the manufacturing of precision parts in-house. 10. Responsible on proper scheduling of works and loading of machines for all machining activities such that optimum output obtained. 11. To ensure proper record on machine utilization is maintained at all time and analysis is carried out. 12. Responsible on maintenance of all lathe and milling machine and cutting tools are available. 13. To ensure the Quality Management System and HSE Management System is understood and implement accordingly. 14. Assist Production Manager and Head of Department in the planning and execution of strategies and programs to achieve performance indicators. 15. Perform any tasks and responsibilities as and when required. 16. Involve and adhere to Health Safety Environment (HSE) and Quality Management System (QMS) policies.
