Construction Site Engineer (C&S)

What you'll be doing Responsible in overseeing all Civil & Structural (C&S) construction works on design & build basis and to ensure project is constructed in accordance to the approved C&S drawings, specifications and in compliance with industry and safety regulations and standards. Also need to handle defects at the construction site. Assist other project staffs to monitor/coordinate architectural when needs arise. Administering, supervising, documenting, periodic reporting on C&S contractual works progress, schedule and cost to the Project Manager, Consultants and Developer. Attend to all site and technical meetings to coordinate site issues and report any non-conformances of C&S and M&E works of nominated / contractors and suppliers. Develop/implement quality controls and assurances, non-compliance reports, testing and commissioning procedures of C&S requirement at construction site. Liaise with authorities in respect of test, inspections, submissions and approvals Ensure coordinating and communicating effectively with all parties involved in all phases of project Ensure all documentation including C&S work program, claims, variations, payment and contract records are in place, updated regularly and in systematic order (site records the progress and delays if any, manpower at site, weather, conditions, drawing received, instructions from superintendent officer etc.). Review and amend C&S tender specification, bill of quantities, shop/ coordination drawings in interfacing with other construction documents, and notify consultants / developer of any discrepancies. Ensure subcontractors comply with HSE site safety rules by JKKP/ DOSH and the Safety & Health Officer and report any non-compliance; Undertake to report to project consultants to monitor works quality including preparing of reports and complying with instructions when requested by the management. Other duties including assisting at works of other fields as assigned from time to time.
