Requirements -Valid Chargeman BO Certificate issued by the Energy Commission of Malaysia (Suruhanjaya Tenaga). -Minimum 5 years of experience in high voltage electrical maintenance and repair (systems above 11kV). -Strong knowledge of high voltage electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques. -Proficient in using high voltage electrical testing and diagnostic tools. -Familiarity with safety regulations and electrical codes of practice in Malaysia (high voltage systems above 11kV). -Willingness to work on a rotating shift basis and be on call for emergencies. -Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces and at heights. -Physically fit to handle job demands, including lifting and carrying heavy equipment. Job Responsibilities: -Lead and supervise maintenance, troubleshooting, work order scheduling, and system operations. -Conduct economic analysis and improvements in the electrical/electronic section. -Maintain, install, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment, including air-conditioning, fire systems, and building machinery. -Liaise with utility providers and government regulatory bodies on utility services and compliance issues. -Ensure new installations and maintenance comply with safety, legal, and quality standards. -Monitor and track daily power consumption; initiate preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and power failures. -Ensure compliance with EHS requirements for a safe work environment. -Operate and maintain the 11Kv electrical system, and handle inspections and status updates on electric supply conditions. -Plan and execute building maintenance and electrical improvements, staying updated with energy-saving methods. -Report to top management and relevant authorities on electrical issues, ensuring compliance with the Electrical Act and Energy Commission requirements.
