Junior Accounts Executive

The Junior Accounts Executive responsible to handle Accounts Payable (AP) activities, ensure accuracy and timely processing, follow policies and procedures or relevant regulations.

Main Duties Include

  • Verification of invoices from vendors and arrange payments by due date;
  • Verification of staff expenses claims and arrange payments by due date;
  • Assist in petty cash management which includes timely replenishment of funds;
  • Assist in updating and maintaining the Fixed Assets Register;
  • Ensure accounting entries are posted into the finance operating system on time and accurately;
  • Ensure all accounting records and documents are properly filed, labeled and kept for future references/ audit checks;
  • Any other matters to be assigned from time to time by the superiors

Main Requirements

  • LCCI / Diploma or Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience in the relevant position.
  • Computer literate with sound knowledge in usage of accounting software.
  • Advanced excel skills.
  • Advance access skills.
  • Required language: English & Bahasa Malayu.
  • Able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders confidently & effectively.
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • You'll be a team player with willingness to help others beyond their formal role.
  • Detailed and consistent follow-up, able to multi-task and willing to learn.
