  • To create, develop and implement an effective strategy of organization for the Housekeeping Department, ensuring maximum guest service and satisfaction.
  • To deliver the best service, quality and value to every customer, every time and maintains customer satisfaction.

  • To maintain physical product standards by routinely inspecting department to ensure that equipment is in proper working condition and supplies are stocked at proper levels.
  • Have acceptable property quality audits for assigned areas and implement action plans to correct deficiencies.
  • To advise management on all matters of potential improvements to the operation.
  • To guide and support Housekeeping associates in daily responsibilities.
  • To review departmental guest complaints, ensuring corrective action is taken.
  • To establish effective inventory control for linens, uniforms and other consumables in the Housekeeping Department.
  • To interact and maintain good working relationship with counterparts from other hotels and with all departments.
  • To assist subordinates during busy and peak periods to ensure guest/s are not delayed or inconvenienced in any manner.
  • To establish an effective reporting and check back system for maintenance and issuance of uniform and linens.
  • To establish effective control systems for Lost & Found items, keys, linen, chemical supplies, guest supplies, etc.
  • Responsible for the proper maintenance and care of all office equipment and surrounding areas.
  • To ensure all linen is on par and prepare inventory reports as and when necessary.
  • To monitor cost management pertaining to inventories, use of supplies, labour and energy.
  • To ensure that the Hotel uniform and linens are immaculate and well maintained at all times.
  • To have good understanding of all standards and procedures.
  • Always be on the look out for new ideas and means of control.
  • Together with the Maintenance Department, to work on a preventive maintenance system and to have as less as possible of out-of-order rooms.
  • To assist Stewarding and Engineering Department in organisation of refuse removal, pest control and contract cleaning equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 per month
