The role involves the responsibility of preparing drawings and applying the highest standards at all times, along with implementing comprehensive quality control measures. Additionally, it requires close collaboration with site and report teams to support the preparation of inspection reports, ensuring that all operational objectives are met in compliance with technical specifications, as well as adhering to both standard and project-specific procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
i. Liaise with Lead and Inspection Engineer to gather the information requirement for drawing preparation.
ii. Studying the rough sketches and deciphering the specification.
iii. Preparing 2D/3D drawing with high accuracy accordance to requirement, standard and specification within the timeline.
iv. Incorporating all details of the drawing based on information from lead and Inspection engineer (Assessment).
v. Amend/update all drawing based on comments from Lead, Inspection Engineer (Assessment) and client.
vi. Support the Engineering drawing department and contract Inspection Engineer with necessary drawings from concept to handover.
vii. Storing the drawings as a soft copy and the final blueprint in an organized manner.
viii. Assist Inspection Engineer in Site Work.
ix. Attend the knowledge and skill training if required.
x. Undertake any other duties as appropriate within competency, as required by supervisor from time to time.
Qualifications:
1. Diploma in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in drafting software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) for creating detailed 2D/3D technical drawings.
3. Strong understanding of technical specifications, standards, and ability to interpret rough sketches.
4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings within set timelines.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with Lead and Inspection Engineers.
6. Familiarity with industry-specific software and portals (e.g., SMARTGEP, SAP, Ariba) is a plus.
7. Ability to manage and store technical drawings in an organized manner.
8. Previous experience in the oil and gas industry or similar field is an advantage.
9. Willingness to assist in site work and undertake additional duties as assigned.
10. Eagerness to attend training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and skills.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
