The overall Sales Planning team works closely with country commercial leaders, sales teams, marketing teams and product teams to ensure maximum impact for our businesses.
Got To Know The Role
- We are looking for an Assistant Manager to support overall planning for GrabForBusiness.
- You will be a balance of analysis, execution and stakeholder management, driving strategic initiatives in collaboration with various teams across business, sales, operations, marketing, product and more.
- You will report into the Senior Manager, GFB Planning & Projects and and be based in Petaling Jaya, working onsite.
- Strategic planning
- You will ensure a well-coordinated business strategy, including clear assessment on where the business currently stands and what it should be in the future.
- You will establish clear plans to realise business strategy, including defining clear business objectives and systematic approaches to achieving them.
- You will perform analyses on top-of-agenda topics, including providing fact base and problem identification on landscape, customers, business structure etc.
- Lead product ownership.
- Discovery:
- You will determine business strategy.
- You will identify target customer segments (who to build for), gather user requirements (what to build).
- You will conduct impact sizing and prioritization.
- You will design and execute proofs-of-concept as needed.
- You will determine roadmap sequence and launch timings.
- Delivery:
- You will lead go-to-market, including assembling a GFB-wide team comprising functions with best-fit capability to execute each responsibility (see Responsibility Breakdown for details).
- Lead growth projects.
- You will develop adjacent business opportunities from analysis, experimentation to operationalization.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, in a strategy/operations/customer-facing or related role.
- You have a minimum Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, economics, computer science, engineering, or related fields.
- You have a quantitative discipline with business sense and the ability to articulate complex analyses to multiple audiences, translating these into actionable business insights.
- You have superb presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, demonstrated by your capability to synthesize a large amount of information into a clear message.
- You are customer-focused in all aspects of planning and delivery.
- You can look beyond individual issues to identify broader themes with wider-reaching impact.
- You have experience at a tech software company
- You have SQL will be an advantage
