Summary
To plan, organize and control production in an organization to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and standard
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for the production schyedulling/planning based on production orders, factory capacity, material and manpower availability to acheieve oprimum equipment utillizaton
- To plan, organize, lead and control overall Production Department by VSC, in achieving company’s and departmental goals and objectives.
- To oversee Production Department's daily routine jobs, providing management and technical guidance to all production employees including organizing meeting, delivering presentation to management.
- Responsible of planning, developing, implementing and executing company activities related to QMS, EMS, Safety & Health,5S, Lean Manufacturing's principles..
- Responsible for subordinate’s career development.
- Responsible for overall production's customer claim, yield and scrap performance.
- Manage manpower planning according to loading based on monthly processing hours and allocate manpower on daily basis prior to the committed shipment plan.
- Responsible for production efficiency and maintain manufactruing cost at lowest possible.
- Ensure continuous improvement in process, cost, quality and production and all improvement activities are strictly followed by production staffs.
- Always ensure on time delivery, achieving the set target.
- Ensure production inventory at the acceptable level. Manage WIP from time to time. Ensure Work Order Management is in place.
- Carry out any duties as assigned by superior.
- Manage departmental Employees Job Descriptions and Provide counselling to subordinates
- Work out and implement standard operating procedures for production operations
- Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedure
- Ensure all activities within their area of control is conducted in a manner that complies with environmental control procedures and does not create unnecessary environmental impacts
- Monitor and ensure compliance to environmental operational controls and compliance with applicable legal and other requirements.
- Communicate clear roles and responsibility for environmental control
Additional JD for Manager, Asst or Executive on lamination products.
- Monitor the lamination process, as needed to maintain optimal quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine checking on laminating master list vs lamination recipe to ensure optimal products quality
- Maintain detailed records of production data (traceability) and equipment usage (Plate, Press pad).
- To ensure lamination operator follows instruction on job traveler, WRI or PRS for each job
- Collaborate with the Engineering and Mnt team to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the lamination process
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Report on lamination activities related to finding and improvement to the Senior Management team.
Qualifications
- Min Diploma in related field with relevant experience
- Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts and the willingness to support and implement improvement efforts.
Education and/or Experience
- Lean Management
- Kaizen
- Problem solving
- Practical productivity improvement
- knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques
- Knowledge on ISO 9001/ EMS 14000
- Knowledge in Injection molding and lamination process is advantage.
Language Skills
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English and Bahasa language verbally and in writing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc. Must have the ability to perform additions, subtractions, etc.
Computer Skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc

Work Requirements
