Job Scope:
- Processing Payments:
- Manage all cash, credit, and debit transactions efficiently.
- Accurately process sales receipts and cash invoices.
- Ensure proper documentation of all transactions, including refunds or exchanges.
- Customer Service:
- Greet walk-in customers and assist them with placing orders.
- Provide customers with information on products, services, and promotions.
- Ensure a positive and professional interaction with all customers.
- Order Management:
- Take orders from walk-in customers and process them in a timely manner.
- Ensure all orders are accurately recorded and communicated to the relevant team.
- Handle any customer inquiries or concerns regarding their orders.
- Cash Handling and Reporting:
- Ensure the cash register is balanced at the end of each day.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the management immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of daily cash flow and submit financial reports as required.
- General Assistance:
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at the cashier counter and customer area.
- Support other team members with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Education & Experience:
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience as a cashier or in retail is an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of handling cash, credit card machines, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Familiarity with invoice and receipt generation processes.
- Personal Qualities:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Honest, reliable, and able to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Other Requirements:
- Able to work on weekends or public holidays when required.
- Candidates who can start immediately are preferred.
