Summary
You will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations. The Events Executive focuses on optimizing revenue through effective event planning, coordination, and client relationship management while supporting the hotel's overall sales and marketing goals.
Qualifications
- Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open to Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia.
- Ideally with a university degree/diploma in Hospitality, Tourism management or any other relevant courses.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the events department of Sales & Marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry or related field.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams to achieve departmental and hotel goals.
- Good interpersonal, negotiation and time management skills as well as attention to detail, and computer proficiency are essential.
