Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership and Management:
- Supervise and motivate warehouse staff, including orientation, training, and performance management.
- Delegate tasks effectively, ensure proper staffing levels, and optimize workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and high morale among warehouse personnel.
2. Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Implement and maintain efficient inventory management practices, including regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate order processing and on-time delivery of customer orders, meeting or exceeding service level agreements.
3. Quality Control and Compliance:
- Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure accuracy and completeness of orders.
- Monitor and maintain warehouse safety standards, including equipment maintenance, training on safety protocols, and adherence to OSHA regulations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations related to inventory management and warehouse operations.
4. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the warehouse operation.
- Implement best practices, new technologies, and automation tools to streamline operations and increase productivity.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track warehouse performance and make data-driven decisions for improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Diploma in any field.
2. Experience in Warehouse Management.
3. Experience in leading a team.
4. Proficient in Warehouse Management Software (WMS), Inventory System and Microsoft Office.
5. Excellent organizational skill.
6. Strong leadership, proactive, organized, meticulous and able to work well under tight schedules.
7. Knowledge on best practices, safety regulations and quality standards.
8. Effective communication skills.
