  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing
  • Position Title: Mechanic (Marine/Electrical)
  • Working Location: Islandwide (Company transport provided at Jurong area)
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, Saturday 8 am – 12 pm
  • Salary Package: Basic + Housing Allowance + AWS + Performance Bonus + OT
  • Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to the shipyard or docking area where the vessel is located.
  • Test the performance of marine engines and electrical systems.
  • Overhaul and troubleshoot main engines and generators.
  • Complete service records and repair documents, maintaining paperwork such as timesheets, service reports, and parts returns in a timely manner.
  • Follow service manual instructions for all repair procedures.
  • Finish service jobs efficiently within the standard job hour guidelines.
  • Keep work areas clean and tidy at all times.
  • Perform in-house and on-site calibration.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

  • Min Nitec / Diploma in relevant fields.
  • Proven work experience as a marine mechanic.
  • Ability to work in the engine room onboard vessels.
  • Ability to work offshore.
  • Follow all safety standards and practices while working in the workshop and on-site.
  • Communicate technical information effectively to service staff and customers.
