Job Description:
- Conduct daily safety inspections across the manufacturing floor and facility.
- Implement and oversee safety protocols to ensure a secure and healthy work environment for all factory employees.
- Report workplace accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational health issues (such as poisoning or disease) to JKKP, using JKKP 6, 7, and 8 forms as required.
- Conduct risk assessments (HIRARC) to identify, evaluate, and control potential hazards specific to the manufacturing processes.
- Organize, coordinate, and document safety committee meetings, including scheduling and preparing meeting minutes.
- Develop, review, and maintain the factory's safety policies to meet regulatory standards and enhance workplace safety compliance.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- Valid certification in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) such as SHO (Safety and Health Officer) from DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health) or similar recognized certifications.
- Additional certifications related to food safety, such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) or GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in safety and health coordination, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated experience in managing safety protocols, conducting safety inspections, and implementing risk assessments in a manufacturing setting.
