We are seeking a dynamic Product Innovation Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development of innovative product features, enhancements, and new products that help enhance the company’s competitive edge. You will also establish and maintain key standards for the company's brand identity, product design, and product standardization.
Key Responsibilities:
Innovation, Green Technology & Differentiation
- Develop and execute strategies to introduce new, innovative ideas by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry technological advancements to ensure competitiveness in the market.
- Drive improvements in products and design processes, aligning with UEM Sunrise's ESG principles.
Standardization & Modularization
- Conduct product testing as needed.
- Research and create guidelines for product benchmarking, standardization, and design management.
- Update and implement standardization and modularization strategies to improve cost efficiency and ensure best practices.
New-to-Market Products
- Identify and develop “hero products” that demonstrate UEM Sunrise's full design potential.
Design Management
- Oversee and review design activities for assigned projects, ensuring proposals align with company objectives and brand.
- Act as the main point of contact for design communications with consultants.
- Work with project and marketing teams to ensure design proposals meet budget, timeline, and quality expectations.
Product DNA
- Develop and implement product design strategies to strengthen the company's brand and identity.
- Stay ahead of architectural, interior, and landscape design trends to ensure quality and creativity in products.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Architecture, LAM Part 1 & 2)
- Experience: 6-12 years of relevant experience in architectural consultancy, design management, or project planning. Experience in township, landed properties, high-rise, mixed-use developments, and commercial buildings is preferred.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or other relevant design software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, creative, and highly collaborative.
- Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights for decision-making.
