Accountant

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Malaysia. You will play a crucial role in managing the general ledger, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

What You’ll Do:

• Handle the general ledger for our Malaysian subsidiaries
• Manage and oversee accounts payable and receivable activities
• Conduct month-end closing procedures
• Establish and maintain a document repository
• Implement and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Support group consolidation activities at the headquarters
• Contribute to new business initiatives and process improvements
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, product teams, auditors, and tax authorities

Who You Are

• A qualified CA or CPA with at least 3-5 years of experience in audit or accounting
• Well versed in Malaysian tax (SST, tax estimate)
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Proficient in MS Excel and G-Suite (Google Sheets)
• Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
• A motivated and driven individual with a positive attitude
