Job Description:
The HPEFS Sales Associate (SA) provides support to Sales Account Managers (AM) by undertaking various sales activities that will help increase sales productivity for the AM’s. The SA will perform a wide variety of sales and administrative tasks which will enable the sales team to spend more quality time selling into their assigned partners and accounts. The remuneration comprises of a base salary with Quarterly Bonus. The bonus will align to the quota achievement of the AM’s that the SA supports.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate qualified leads and manage sales process for partners/customers on HPEFS products & services including financial solutions and asset management
- Build relationships with partners and HPE/HPI sales teams to hand-off qualified leads.
- Accurately forecast revenue and track leads & associated activities through Salesforce.com & assist in updating various sales funnel/pipeline on a constant basis
- Be an additional point of contact for customers and partners to support sales efforts on the ground
- Carry out numerous sales admin activities, both ad hoc and programmatically required for team to achieve its sales plan
- Timely assistance in identifying/qualifying more complex sales tasks and routing them to the appropriate salesperson
- Regular dialogue with Sales Account Managers to provide updates on existing activities
- Proactively follow up with partners and customers on proposals and all required documentation in a timely manner
Competencies:
- Knowledge of HP/HPE/HPEFS processes and organizations
- Proactive, responsive, and accountable
- Finance and IT industry knowledge
- Has an interest in developing a career in sales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Mastery in English
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work effectively in virtual team environments & under pressure
- Previous experience with CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce.com a plus)
Experience:
- College degree required, post graduate degree a plus
- 2+ years of sales related experience preferred
