Qualification
- A recognized degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role (experience in handling administrative tasks is a plus).
- Knowledge or experience in accounting is a major advantage.
- Familiarity with Malaysian labour laws and regulations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage all HR-related tasks including recruitment, employee onboarding, leave management, and performance evaluations specifically for an assigned project.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and regulations, including EPF, SOCSO, and EIS contributions related to the assigned project.
- Assist with payroll processing and coordinate with the accounting department to ensure timely salary disbursements related to the assigned project.
- Maintain employee records and manage the administration of benefits programs.
- Handle employee grievances and manage disciplinary procedures where necessary.
- Support office administrative functions, including maintaining office supplies and equipment.
- Assist in preparing reports for management and supporting documentation for claims or audits.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure a healthy and productive work environment.
- Assist with organizing company events, training sessions, and team-building activities.
- Provide administrative support to other departments as needed.
Working Hours
- Regular working hours: 0830 - 1730 (Monday - Friday)
- Occasional additional hours may be required during critical operations.
- One (1) hour lunch break daily
- Two (2) hours on Fridays for Muslim male prayers
