Get to Know the Team

As a Strategy Manager on the Regional Deliveries team, you will shape the direction of Grab's Supermarket business by identifying growth opportunities, mitigating risks, and driving strategic plans. You will collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define a strategy positioning Grab as the leader in the online grocery industry.

You will lead Grab's supermarket strategy, working with our supermarket partners to ensure their success on the GrabMart platform. Starting from identifying and onboarding strategic partners to collaborating with the regional product teams, you will build the right capabilities to ensure the success of the GrabMart business. You will report into the Senior Product Management Leader, Online Delivery Reliability and work onsite in the Grab Petaling Jaya office.

You Will:

  • Analyze external trends, competitive dynamics, and market changes to identify growth opportunities and potential threats to the business.
  • Develop and articulate the competitive positioning of GrabMart, setting priorities aligned with our goals.
  • Lead the strategic planning process, including developing business cases, scenario planning, and creating strategic roadmaps to guide the business forward.
  • Establish measurements to evaluate the effectiveness of strategic plans, making data-driven adjustments.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to communicate strategy, gain buy-in, and manage expectations across all levels.

The Critical Tasks You will Perform

You Will:

  • Establish measurements to measure the success of strategic plans, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Engage with stakeholders at different levels to communicate strategies, obtain support, and manage expectations.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a strategic or commercial role within supermarket or online grocery space.
  • You can interpret market trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • You have the capability to develop long-term plans and make informed trade-offs
  • You have led cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders toward achieving strategic goals.
  • Experience with data-driven decision-making, including establishing measurements to evaluate the success of plans.
