REMOTE PHYSICIAN (RESPONSE CENTRE DOCTOR)

• Part of a team of 9 doctors providing cover for a 24 hours, 7 days a week Emergency Call Centre service. • Open for SABAHAN • Respond promptly to incoming emergency calls, gather essential information, and relay it accurately and promptly to the on-duty Emergency Physician (EP) • Reports to the chain of command – ie. Shift Supervisor, Team Leader, Emergency Physician, and Commander. • Facilitate the coordination of medical assistance by dispatching appropriate resources and providing necessary basic instructions to the medical person involved. • Liaise closely with the medics on board the offshore platforms and the onshore team to ensure the patient receives timely and accurate medical advice. • Maintain open lines of communication to relay vital information between the Call Centre and the client. • Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of all communications and actions taken for each episode. • Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and procedural guidelines governing emergency medical services. • Generate reports and logs as required by the department. • Utilize computer systems and software to input and retrieve patient information, update records, and access relevant medical databases. • Perform other duties as required by Shift Supervisor, Team Leader, Commander/Deputy Commander, or the Company. • Certify as Medical Auditor
