· Assist the DC Facilities Manager to lead the Data Centre operations
· Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Method of Procedures (MOP) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP), Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and Change Management Plan (CMP) for operation functionality
· Review and approval of Method of Statement (MOS), Risk Assessment (RA) and various Permit To Work (PTW)
· Technical leader managing and assisting the ground team on Data Centre operations during normal and emergency situations
· Provide and analyse energy efficient solutions to minimize power losses.
· Participate in equipment failure or power outage related incident Root-Cause-Analysis (RCA),
· Provide instructions to vendors, installation contractors and validate quality of vendor works on site
· Respond on an as-needed basis to emergencies in the Data Centre and traveling to site to provide on-site support
· Ensure compliance with government regulations
· Conduct Drills (Fire / BCP) with the Operations team and Client’s Operations team
· Preparation of meeting minutes such as and not limited to, Quarterly Business Reviews, Monthly Reports, Incident Reports and Analysis reports.
· Help create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment.
· Support ongoing learning and development of team members.
· Monitor spending patterns and budget.
· Develop good customer relationships.
· Conduct employee performance reviews.
· Liaise between managers, customers and employees.
· Regularly support the reviewing of Asset Management, Risk Management, Incident Management, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Incident and Analytical Reports
Requirements
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
· Mnimum 5-6 years experience in Data Centre operation management or relevant critical environment experience in Oil & Gas, Electrical Power Plant etc.
· Preferably 1-2 year as Team Lead or Supervisory level.
· Strong technical understanding of Data Centre components, including electrical power, HVAC systems, Direct Liquid Cooling, and IT infrastructure.
· Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and handle crisis situations effectively.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to finding and implementing solutions.
Certifications in Data Centre management, facilities management, or IT infrastructure are advantageous.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
