Lorry Driver [Pemandu Lorry]

• Responsible to deliver products from our warehouse in Shah Alam and/or 3rd parties’ warehouse to locations at the central region namely Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Melaka. Occasionally, there are also requirements to deliver products to the state of Penang and Perak.
• To ensure that all deliveries have been signed, stamped and delivered to the correct recipient.
• Plan routes and meet daily delivery schedules.
• Load and unload, tarp and ensure safety / security of cargo.
• May need to operate the forklift to support warehouse team for loading/unloading
• Able to rotate roles as lorry driver and lorry attendant whenever required.
• To join hands with the warehouse team to load and unload products/ materials/ equipment to/from the lorry/containers.
• To join hands with the warehouse team to repalletize goods when required.
• To join hands with the warehouse team to shrink wrap goods when required.
• Complete routine daily documentation including a driver logbook, truck inspection checklist and goods dispatch form
• Comply with traffic/transport rules and regulations imposed by the authorities (not limited to size, weight, route designations and parking), as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance of the vehicle by testing various operative systems and fluids levels to keep it in good order condition (for example check tyres, fuel, oil and water level.
• Monitor and send truck for periodic maintenance and PUSPAKOM inspection.
• Maintain safe working conditions and practices to achieve a zero (0) lost time injury record within the area of responsibility.
• Perform work duties in accordance with Omya Life Saving Rules, Quality Systems Manual procedures & company policy.
• Keep work areas and tools in a safe, clean and orderly condition at all times.
• Maintain truck cleanliness.
• Report any accident/incident on time to Superior.
• Attend all mandatory site-specific training and tools box talk.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
