Job Purpose

The E-Commerce Executive is responsible for driving the online sales strategy and operations of the company. This role involves managing the day-to-day activities of the e-commerce platform(s), optimizing user experience, implementing marketing campaigns, and ensuring the smooth execution of the end-to-end online sales process. The E-Commerce Executive will collaborate with various teams, including marketing, IT, customer service, and logistics, to achieve revenue targets, enhance customer satisfaction, and grow the brand’s online presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Website Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operation of the company's e-commerce site(s) such as company website, Shoppee, Lazada etc and ensure that product listings, pricing, and content are accurate and up-to-date.

  • Sales and Performance Tracking:

Monitor and analyze e-commerce performance metrics including conversion rates, sales volume, traffic, and customer engagement. Provide actionable insights and recommendations for performance improvement.

  • Product and Inventory Management:

Work with inventory and product teams to ensure stock levels, product availability, and timely updates to the online store. Ensure accurate product categorization, descriptions, and pricing.

  • Customer Experience:

Ensure that the e-commerce platform delivers an optimized, seamless, and user-friendly shopping experience. Address customer issues and feedback to continuously improve satisfaction.

  • Digital Marketing Support:

Collaborate with the marketing team to execute and optimize online marketing campaigns (PPC, SEO, email marketing, social media, etc.) to drive traffic and sales.

  • Order Fulfillment & Logistics Coordination:

Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely processing and delivery of orders. Oversee the smooth handling of returns, refunds, and exchanges.

  • Market Research & Trend Analysis:

Monitor e-commerce trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

  • Reporting & Analytics:

Provide regular reports on sales performance, website traffic, customer behavior, and campaign performance. Use data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelors'/Masters’ Degree in Business or Marketing.
  • Additional trade marketing, digital marketing, new product developments and/or cross-functional experience is an advantage.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or online retail operations preferably in FMCG, beauty / skincare industry.
  • Proficient in using e-commerce platforms such as Shoppee, Lazada etc
  • Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize.
  • Track record of result delivery.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
