Position: Intern Interior Designer
Location: One South, opposite MRT station near Sungai Besi toll
Department: Depending on Placement
Reports to: Department Manager / Supervisor

Role Overview:
As an Interior Design Intern at Godeco Services Sdn Bhd, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our design team on innovative projects, from concept development to project delivery. This internship will provide practical experience in space planning, design visualization, and client interaction within a design and build environment. Interns will support the design team with daily tasks, collaborate on creative projects, and gain exposure to the full cycle of interior design processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Interior Design Intern:
- Assist in developing design concepts, creating layouts, and planning spaces that align with client requirements and project goals.
- Support in producing detailed 2D drawings and 3D renderings using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit).
- Collaborate with the design team to prepare presentation materials, including mood boards, sample boards, and visual aids for client proposals.
- Conduct research on materials, finishes, and furnishings to recommend selections that meet both aesthetic and functional project needs.
- Participate in client meetings, site visits, and design reviews to gain hands-on experience and understand project expectations.
- Assist with the documentation and organization of project specifications, schedules, and timelines.
- Maintain and update the materials library by sourcing new samples and organizing current inventory.
- Provide general support to the design team in ensuring projects meet design and quality standards.
- Ad-hoc task
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a diploma, degree, or equivalent program in Interior Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong interest in interior design, space planning, and materials selection.
- Good communication and presentation skills, with an eye for detail.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Eagerness to learn, show initiative, and take on creative challenges.

Contract length: 6 months
Pay: RM500.00 - RM800.00 per month
