Sales Executive (Banquet or Room Sales)

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive with a strong focus on driving both Banquet and Room Sales for our hotel. This role is crucial for building client relationships, securing bookings, and achieving sales targets across both segments. The ideal candidate is client-focused, target-driven, and has a solid understanding of the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Banquet Sales:

Promote banquet facilities for events such as weddings, corporate meetings, and social gatherings.

Collaborate with clients to understand event requirements, customize packages, and ensure the seamless execution of all events.

Coordinate with the banquet and operations teams to ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

Room Sales:

Generate room bookings by targeting individual and corporate clients, tour operators, and online travel agents.

Negotiate room rates, packages, and contracts with clients to optimize occupancy and revenue.

Assist in designing and promoting seasonal offers and packages to attract new business.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary contact to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Conduct site visits, hotel tours, and presentations to showcase facilities and offerings to prospective clients.

Respond promptly to inquiries and provide clients with tailored solutions to meet their needs.

Sales Strategy & Target Achievement:

Work closely with the Sales Manager to implement strategies aimed at maximizing both room and banquet sales.

Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets by actively pursuing leads, converting inquiries, and closing sales.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities.

Coordination & Communication:

Collaborate with other departments (e.g., F&B, Front Office, and Events) to ensure client requirements are understood and executed smoothly.

Maintain clear communication with team members to ensure all logistical and operational aspects of sales bookings are in place.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotel banquet or room sales.

Strong understanding of the hotel market, client needs, and event planning.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and meet sales targets consistently.
