Join the dynamic team at GROWMORE TRADERS SDN BHD as a Shipping Assistant. This full-time position is based in the vibrant neighbourhood of Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. You will play a crucial role in the company's export operations, ensuring smooth logistics and customs clearance.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate and monitor the export of goods, liaising with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and other stakeholders
  • Prepare and process all necessary documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations
  • Liaise with customers and vendors to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Maintain accurate records and data related to the company's shipping activities
  • Assist in the planning and execution of logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar shipping or logistics role, preferably within the import/export and customs industry
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and comfortable working with SQL
  • Knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and documentation requirements
