Transport Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist the operations of the transportation control centre on a daily basis.
• Interact with fleet team for planning delivery routes.
• Monitoring real-time transportation systems
• Manage driver and fleet availability for deliveries – leave management and fleet maintenance and servicing.
• Attend and solve day to day ground issues – people, operation, safety.
• Conduct job safety observation (JSO),customer site loading/unloading spot check.
• Conduct daily driver briefing/debriefing.
• Ensure usage of Delivery Apps and TraReport any minor or major incident, assist in incident investigation.
• Submit attendance, leave application form and KPI deduction form to HR.
• Manage usage of authorised route and rest stops..
• Ensure safety culture exists at all operations – monitors, audits, and reports on the existence of safety programs, understanding and conformity at each operation
• Execute all HSSE compliance items including physicals, licenses, driver screening, annual reviews, maximum working hours of service regulations, etc. of outsourced and/or own fleet team.
• Any other job as assigned from time to time

Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate / Diploma or related field.
• At least 2 years’ vast experience in transport industry & fleet teams’ management.
• Experience in managing control tower.
• Experience in managing ‘Crisis Management’ and experience to turn around utilization of trucks when there is any eventuality.
• Knowledge on TMS implementation planning & calculation of costing for any ad-hoc project will be an added advantage.
• Must be willing to work at Rawang

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
