Job Responsibilities;

  • Planning on strategic sales, promotion and marketing planning refer to 52 weeks lifestyle and merchandise calendar.
  • Strategic supplier management; collaboration with the supplier to improve the business relationship, focus on own group department yearly contract trading terms, business agreement outright and consignment, sourcing of new suppliers and merchandise, rebate management, suppliers visit and business review.
  • In charge for overall Snacks, Confectionaries, Beverages and Non-Halal categories.
  • Merchandise assortments, pricing policy and strategy; provide direction and strategy of merchandise assortment plan and classification for respective stores.
  • Introduce new merchandise/category(Brand development) based on customer's demand and lifestyle.
  • Study competitor, market situation, and visitation of trade fair to understanding merchandise assortment availability, market price and way of selling.
  • Analyze sales performance category, brand and department and market trend for main categories.
  • Check and prepare assortments for new stores.
  • Prepare monthly review and provide sales counter measure as and when necessary.
  • Planning and support on special projects to improved department sales and activity.
  • Monitor and supervise the performance of merchandisers.
  • Any other tasks as and when assigned by the management.

Job Requirements;

  • Minimum of Diploma/Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Retail Management and any related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experiences in Retail Operation/Merchandising.
  • Broad knowledge of Beverages merchandise, theoretical and practical knowledge.
  • Customer focused, strong oral communications with demonstrated ability to lead/influence and a team player.
  • Able to analyze and report in Microsoft Office for Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Able to well understand work process in contributing info and develop SOP.
  • Willing to travel as needed by company..
  • Possess own transport and able to work in Maluri, Cheras.
