- Evaluate patients’ medical condition and history to determine most suitable radiographic technique for diagnosis.
- Interact with patients to offer them psychological support and address their concerns regarding an imaging procedure.
- Adjust diagnostic equipment to deliver accurate amount of radiation to patients.
- Operate X-ray medical instruments.
- Maintain proper records of patient details ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Explain to patients and their family the details of a procedure.
- Regularly inspect diagnostic equipment to ensure they are functional and operate efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines to minimize risk of exposure to ionizing radiation correctly position patients prior to X-ray imaging in order to obtain high quality films.
- To carry out the duties required for Quality Assurance Program and Quality Control every year before expiry to enable X-ray license can be renewed smoothly.
- To maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- To comply with Health & Safety guidelines at all times, including when taking x-rays, disposing of sharps and clinical waste, emergency procedures and fire drill.
- To comply with all medical ethical guidelines including all rules on confidentiality, Data Protection and Safeguarding Protection.
- To ensure operation of clinic equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting.
- Malfunctions; to call for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- To maintain and increase competence in radiographic skills by actively following a program of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
- To carry out any other duties requested by the employer to ensure that patients receive a high-quality patient care. To be flexible with duties to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
- To perform other clerical duties related to operation if required.
- To establish and maintain productive working relationships with all members of the team
Requirement:
- Minimum at least Diploma related for this position
- Able to communicate well in English
- Fresh graduate are encourage to apply
