Job Description


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe environment for guests and staff; establish and enforce safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct inspections and surveillance to prevent security violations.
  • Collaborate with the Talent & Culture Department to determine and implement security training.
  • Lead accident prevention programs and periodic evacuation drills.
  • Handle guest concerns related to theft or accidents and maintain records of incidents.
  • Liaise with local authorities (police, fire department) and maintain good relations.
  • Enhance the discipline and professionalism of security personnel; ensure asset protection.
  • Address security incidents, fire safety, occupational health and safety measures promptly.
  • Form and lead the safety committee; schedule security staff effectively.
  • Assist in handling cash, loss control, and employee-related investigations.
  • Conduct regular fire safety drills and security training.
  • Investigate thefts, frauds, and incidents of loss, and prepare departmental budgets.
  • Review and improve security procedures and motivate the security team.
  • Advise management on fraud prevention and ensure the General Manager is informed about security matters.

Qualifications
  • Ex-police or army (Major/Chief or Senior Inspector/ASP rank).
  • SPM, Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Security & Safety Management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests while maintaining confidentiality and security.
