With commencement of new developments both in Penang and Kuala Lumpur, we are seeking new talents to join our existing team at Runnymede Group.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- To assist the Head of Legal in all legal related matters
- To provide administrative support to the Legal Department
- To assist in drafting and reviewing various company documents such as correspondences, contracts, agreements and other legal documents to ensure they are legally sound and in compliance with applicable laws
- To assist in the preparation and management of legal cases, including compilation of documentations for case files, analyzing legal documents and liaison with relevant parties (both internal and external)
- To monitor and comply with legal deadlines i.e. respond to legal inquiries and provide legal assistance on timely basis and within stipulated deadlines
- To observe the changes in respective legislation and provide advice to the team on potential impacts
- To maintain accurate and organised records of all legal files and documentations, ensuring all data are up-to-date at all times
- To maintain strict confidentiality and interact professionally with all levels of Management and staff
- To undertake special assignments, ad-hoc projects and related duties as and when required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualifying experience in legal environment such as law firm, corporate legal department. Candidates with in-house legal experience would be an added advantage
- Articulate and proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
- IT/Computer literate and proficient in MS Office
- Basic law knowledge is required. Strong knowledge and understanding of corporate law, contract law and property law would be an added advantage
- Strong analytical skills and organisational ability
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Adaptive and collaborative. Able to work independently with high degree of integrity and as team player.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Pleasant disposition, resourceful, meticulous and able to multi-task to take on additional responsibilities to grow beyond core role
