  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Contract Duration: 1st November 2024 - 30th April 2027 (2 years and 6 months)

Working Hours: 8 am to 5 pm (Monday to Friday), 8 am to 1 pm (Saturday)

Responsibilities:

Project

  • Coordinate with design consultants and clients for delivery schedule, monitor and track design progress, and update design status.
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with all team members and other stakeholders to monitor the design progress in order to ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide engineering ideas/solutions to solve problems that arise on construction sites related to design.
  • Assist Design Manager in all matters including design review and drawing management, prepare a progress report/method statement/work procedure/presentation etc.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the Management from time to time.

Tender

  • Assist Design Manager and participate in tender submission wherever required.
  • Assist contract department in quantity taking-off and bill of quantity.
  • Assist in preparation of report and/or presentation where required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 1 to 5 years (minimum 1 to 3 years with design consultant) or relevant design experience.
  • Engineering knowledge in any civil sub-discipline.
  • Design coordination and management.
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving.
  • Basic administrative and organization skills.
  • Personal attributes: Fast and keen learner, good initiative in work, adaptive to contractor's environment, work independently as a good member in team work.
  • Able to work under pressure especially for tender exercise.
  • Adopt a fast-paced working environment.
  • Able to support overseas tasks whenever required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 30 months

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,800.00 per month
