As a Business Development Representative, you will build relationships, generate and cultivate leads, and set on-site appointments for the outside Sales Team. You will be responsible for attaining a quota on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. We are seeking applicants with a strong work ethic, a bottom-line focus, and the desire to grow company revenue to support Hong Kong market growth objectives .
What you will be doing:
Respond to ‘warm’ inquiries to understand interest in our products via phone, email, social media, etc. (‘Warm’ is defined as a prospect who has responded to a marketing campaign).
Cultivate net new mid-sized and large prospects through outbound prospecting efforts ( identify targets, prepare for prospecting, prospecting, handoff to sales).
Engage with mid-sized and large prospects, building relationships with relevant roles (C-Level).
Assist sales counterparts by building pipeline , delivering qualifying leads, and cultivating new prospects to enable them to achieve the company’s revenue objectives .
Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly scorecard metrics (such as calls scheduled, calls completed, qualified opportunities, and deals) and enter data into our customer relationship management software.
Conduct market research to be followed up by the Territory Managers in the field .
Continuously learn our applications/value proposition/differentiation to enhance conversations .
What you will likely bring :
Demonstrate excellent phone voice, manner, written, and verbal communication skills with proven leadership experience and a desire to move into future leadership roles.
Experience f ield ing questions from prospects and customers about the company, products, services, and implementation .
Preferred telephone sales experience, or solution selling experience in the software industry.
Cultivate and manage existing leads in a sales pipeline through preliminary sales stages and have held individual quota goals with a proven track record preferred.
What could set you apart:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
2+ years of outbound sales, tele sales or inside sales experience, and 2+ years of experience in related industry (manufacturing, distribution, retail, lumber, auto) with a k nowledge of marketing and sales.
C antonese language skills required as supporting Hong Kong market.
