Position Overview:
As a Brand Strategist, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the brand positioning, marketing strategies, and overall retail success of the various mobile brands we carry. You will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and brand principals to create compelling, data-driven strategies that grow market share and enhance brand presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Positioning:
- Develop and maintain distinct value propositions for mobile brand within our portfolio.
- Ensure brand messaging aligns with the retailer’s identity and resonates with target audiences.
- Market Research:
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to guide strategic decisions.
- Identify new opportunities for brand growth and differentiation.
- Brand Development:
- Create strategies to enhance brand identity, build awareness, and drive customer engagement across all touchpoints.
- Ensure consistent and cohesive messaging in all marketing materials.
- Marketing Strategy:
- Lead the development of targeted marketing campaigns that align with brand strengths, audience demographics, and market trends.
- Utilize digital marketing, social media, and in-store promotions to drive brand visibility.
- Collaboration with Brand Partners:
- Work closely with phone brand principals to ensure alignment between retail and brand goals.
- Coordinate co-promotional activities that benefit both the retailer and the brands.
- Sales Strategy:
- Design and implement sales strategies, leveraging product promotions, bundles, and seasonal incentives to maximize revenue.
- Work with sales teams to translate brand strategies into actionable plans.
- Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze brand performance using data and KPIs.
- Provide regular performance reports and adjust strategies based on insights.
- Customer Experience:
- Collaborate with customer experience teams to ensure in-store experiences reflect the quality and values of each brand.
- Foster brand loyalty by enhancing the overall customer journey.
- Training and Support:
- Train retail staff on brand knowledge, product features, and selling techniques to ensure expert-level customer service.
- Develop training materials in collaboration with brand partners.
- Crisis Management:
- Anticipate and manage potential issues or negative brand perceptions, implementing crisis communication strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in brand strategy, marketing, or a related role, preferably within retail or consumer electronics.
- Strong understanding of multi-brand management and retail dynamics.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and external partners.
- Proficient in digital marketing platforms and data analytics.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,677.72 per month
