TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure effective strategic action
- By successfully managing sales plans to achieve sales targets set by the HQ / CM
- By target customer that can support product business in Malaysia
- By building and promoting strong, long lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs
- By presenting sales, revenue reports and realistic forecasts to the Regional Management
- By managing all local sales activities, promotions and actions in cooperation with the Regional Management
- By negotiating sales terms, conditions and rate agreements with customers in his/her sales region
- By accepting and coordinating air freight with route management / load control
- By producing regular reports, statistics and analysing sales performance and present them to Regional Management
- By analysing market trends and comprehensive sales opportunities for his/her region
- By being responsible to achieve sales goals through effective planning and sales coverage
- By looking forward generating new opportunities for the organization
- By leading all sales activities within his/her local team / region
- By obtaining market information and keeping record on same
Ensure Teamwork and people management
- By being a role model for staff in the country; by overlooking the team spirit and give feedback on a regular basis to all staff within his/her responsibility
- By ensuring stations goals are reached by setting realistic targets and priorities to push sales effort
- By analysing performance and optimize processes within his/her region
- By analysing & report results compared to the target using the given tools
- By ensuring that all employees receive important information
- By maintaining professional and technical knowledge
- By empowering employees to independently solve customer complaints
- By attending Regional Meetings, Events and assure information flow within his/her team
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- At least 10 years of proven Cargo Sales experience is a must
- Experience in leading a team/station
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
- Demonstrate strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills (empathize with employees, challenge and motivate the team )
- Presentation, analystical and planning skills are essential
- Above-average people management, customer service and leadership skills are crucial
- Motivated leading by example and hands-on mentality are required
- Should be able to set goals, think analytical, be flexible, act independently and on own responsibilities
- Economical understanding of the air cargo market
- possess a deep understanding of his/her country's local politics to enforce laws and regulations
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Position based in Kuala Lumpur
- Occasional to frequent travel
- Flexibility in working hours
