Company Overview
We are collaborating with a Japan MNC company who's dedicated in delivering premium propulsion systems and generators to shipyards and shipowners worldwide, with a focus on maritime applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Mechanical Engineer in designing, interpreting, and preparing specifications for mechanical systems, including ACMV/HVAC, Fire Protection, Plumbing/Sanitary, Compressed Air Systems, Dust Collectors, Piping, and other utilities, as well as in creating mechanical technical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Monitor and allocate on-site resources, including manpower, materials, equipment, and tools.
- Plan, implement, and oversee all mechanical work on-site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and requirements.
- Provide engineering and technical support at the project site.
- Coordinate with the Design and Engineering teams on project-related matters.
- Attend site meetings and inspections, and regularly submit progress reports to management.
- Liaise with customers, main contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Perform additional administrative duties as required by management.
Requirements
- SKM/Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of construction experience in plants, factories, or buildings.
- Experience in fast-track construction environments is preferred.
