Role Overview:
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, customer accounts and contract terms, financial measures and KPIs and branch staff encompassing employees and contract delivery drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deploys continuous improvement efforts to drive productivity, reduce operating costs, streamline work processes, and work collaboratively with others to provide seamless quality customer service to achieve strategic business initiatives.
· Manages full employee and contract driver life cycle from recruitment to resignation, including adherence to company policies, customer requirements, and applicable laws.
- Identify and secure new customers to support rapid business expansion.
· Oversee resource allocation including personnel, equipment and facilities to ensure optimal utilization
- To perform any other sales activities or project as assigned by the superior.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time deliveries, delivery accuracy, customer satisfaction, and operational costs. Take corrective actions to address any performance issues
· Ensure branch and staff safety, manage security tools, and maintain cleanliness and appurtenance.
· Collaborate with other departments, submit timely reports, and manage staff supplies.
· Overseeing and managing the activities of the hired agent and the services of GDEX point-of-presence (POP) within the designated branch.
Requirements/Skills:
· Degree in any field.
· Possess own transport.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and people management, with a proven track record in branch management or a similar leadership role.
· Aggressive self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
· Capable of working effectively under pressure.
· Ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage.
· Strong leadership abilities with a proven capability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Proficient in financial management, operational planning, and problem solving.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and efficiency.
