About Us:Nestled in the captivating Cameron Highlands, Hotel De'La Ferns is a boutique gem known for its refined elegance and warm hospitality. We're on the lookout for a forward-thinking Chef de Partie to play a pivotal role in modernizing our kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Ala Carte & Banqueting Events Operation:
- Take charge of cooking for ala carte menu & special events and banquets, ensuring all dishes meet our high standards and delight our guests.
Quality Assurance & Cost Management:
- Uphold impeccable standards of food quality, presentation, and taste, while optimizing costs through smart procurement and portion control.
- Contribute to recipe costing for diverse menus, including à la carte, breakfast, and group/event offerings.
Team Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure seamless operations, fostering an environment of open communication and collaboration.
- Mentor commis chefs, sharing your expertise and encouraging their growth in a kitchen environment.
Requirements:
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent certification.
- Demonstrated experience in a dynamic kitchen setting, with a keen interest in leveraging technology for culinary innovation.
- Passion for driving change and a forward-thinking approach to kitchen operations.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
