Key Responsibilities:
Video Production:
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos for various university purposes, including promotional content, event coverage, campus tours, and student testimonials.
- Work with departments to create educational videos and instructional materials.
Concept Development:
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop creative video concepts that align with the university's brand and objectives.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for campaigns, ensuring content is engaging and resonates with target audiences.
- Editing and Post-Production:
- Edit raw footage to create polished final videos, including sound mixing, color grading, and adding visual effects.
- Ensure videos are optimized for various platforms, such as the university website, social media, and YouTube.
Equipment Management:
- Maintain and manage video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio equipment, to ensure readiness for shoots.
- Recommend upgrades or purchases of new equipment as needed to keep up with technology advancements.
Scheduling and Project Management:
- Organize and prioritize multiple projects, managing timelines to meet deadlines for video deliverables.
- Maintain a library of video assets and archive completed projects for easy future access.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in videography, preferably within an educational or corporate setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
- Strong technical skills in video production, including camera operation, lighting setup, and audio recording.
- Excellent storytelling ability with a focus on capturing authentic, engaging content.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Creative, adaptable, and resourceful, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills, able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: RM3,500.00 per month
