Responsibilities

  • Practical Training: Supervise and assist students in hands-on laboratory exercises, projects, and internships to reinforce theoretical concepts and develop practical skills.
  • Assessment: Develop and administer assessments (e.g., exams, quizzes, projects) to evaluate student learning and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Student Guidance: Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters, helping them set goals and navigate their educational journey.
  • Industry Collaboration: Maintain strong relationships with industry partners to ensure training programs are relevant and prepare students for successful careers.
  • Professional Development: Continuously update their knowledge and skills through professional development activities, such as attending conferences, workshops, and webinars.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering technology or a related field
  • Master's degree in engineering technology or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in teaching engineering technology courses
  • Strong understanding of engineering technology principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring students
