Role Purpose

Key Accountability

• Design, establish and ongoing management of the data analytics platform/framework for MH. Work with all data source owners to build the overall strategy to transform MH into a Data Driven Organisation.
• Lead the discovery process with stakeholders within the Division and other departments to identify the business requirements and expected outcomes to use data to improve business performances. Lead the identification process of data availability, relevancy of internal and external data and the processes to consolidate those into a single data analytics framework.
• Develop innovative and effective approaches to solve analytical problems based on a best-fit attribution model for MH.
• Educate the organisation from a business/commercial as well as IT perspective on data-driven approaches to testing hypotheses and statistical validation of results. Help the organisation to understand the principles and math behind the data-science process to drive organisation buy-in.
• Be the custodian of all data to ensure business-decisions are based on accurate data and based on modern approaches to derive meaningful action out of data through machine learning techniques, statistical modelling, scenario modelling and rigorously testing hypotheses against data and real-life trials

Qualification & Experience

• Degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics or Statistics with 3 years of working experience working in data sciences, data analysis

• Data sciences and data analysis.
• Statistical analysis, quantitative analytics, forecasting and predictive analytics, multivariate testing, and optimisation algorithms.
• Programming skills (e.g., Hadoop MapReduce) and statistical modelling languages R, Python and DAX.
• Data visualisation tools, such as Tableau, SAS VA or PowerBI.

• Ability to come up with solutions to loosely defined business problems by leveraging pattern detection over potentially large datasets.
