Job Responsibilities :

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in FP&A to support various business units within the Company.

The Senior Business Analyst’s primary responsibilities are focused on financial analysis, corporate planning, budgeting, costs controlling, monitoring and analysis of budget vs actuals (BvA)

Duties, Role and Responsibilities

  • Be a finance partner for business units, performing analysis and providing reports highlighting key insights, trends and actionable recommendations.
  • Participate in projects as part of the project delivery team; assist in achieving execution efficiencies and articulation of business requirements.
  • Maintain, enhance, and optimize financial and data models to ensure accurate forecasts and scenario analyses.
  • Engage with Management and Budget Direct In-Charge (DRIs) to discuss budget plans, cost control initiatives and analysis of costs.
  • Revise budget allocation and/or determine management targets for Budget DRIs based on Management’s directives.
  • Lead training sessions for business unit leaders and other stakeholders on budgets, financial reports and processes.
  • Provide BvA reports to Management every month.
  • Perform adhoc analysis and prepare other reports as requested by Management.

Pre-Requisites :

Experience, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Experience in business partnering and strong background in financial analysis.
  • Solid accounting knowledge and proven understanding of Financial Statements.
  • Proven skills in translating metrics between business operations and finance
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both oral and written, and able to communicate concisely
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Ability to execute under high pressure situations and meeting deadlines
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills with a strong sense of prioritization
  • Demonstrate intellectual and analytical rigor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge in SAP and PowerBI is preferred.
  • Certified in CPA is a plus.

  • Positive working attitude and diplomatic in handling stakeholders within Finance and from other departments
  • Comfortable with databases and data/excel models
  • Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines
  • Willingness to work long hours when necessary.

Minimum qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accountancy or Business
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis
  • Big-4 audit experience is a plus
