Data Engineer, Enterprise Financial Services

Let's talk about Responsibilities

• Works with Business Analysts and Business Application Owner to translate business requirements and use cases into technical and data requirements

• Identifies all the source system tables and fields that need to be brought into Celonis

• Extracts, transforms and loads all source system data needed for each process implemented within Celonis

• Builds the Celonis data model for each process

• Collaborates with relevant business experts to validate the data within Celonis

• Monitors and optimizes the performance of all data queries to ensure ideal response times

• Documents all technical and data requirements and all extract, transform, load (ETL) work

• Remaining up to date with industry standards and technological advancements that will improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.

• Provides ongoing support for any data-related issues

• Present implementation progress and results to senior executives and business teams

• Lead business value workshops with process improvement and business teams and uses Celonis to identify and qualify opportunities for operational and process improvements

• Document Celonis implementations and builds a library of use cases

• Manage and prioritize all incoming requests for Celonis enhancements

• Support and enable end users

Let's talk about Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Data/Computer Engineering or related discipline and with at least 3 years relevant working experience

• Proficiency in SQL coding

• Extensive experience in ETL processes

• Strong experience with relational databases and data modeling

• Python skills

• Solid understanding of the data structures of core enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM)

• Demonstrated experience working with large and complex data sets as well as experience analyzing volumes of data.

• Strong communication skills and people skills

• Strong analytical skills, especially in applying technology solutions to core business problems

• Proficiency in leading and facilitating workshops and executive meetings

• Previous experience in process improvement, business analysis or technology consulting referred

• Experience working in a Shared Services or MNC environment a plus
