Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Central Kitchen Supervisor to manage our Central Kitchen (CK) at Sambal Bakar Malaya. This role includes overseeing all CK operations, from production and team supervision to process management and inventory control. The ideal candidate will ensure consistent product quality, accurate stock management, and adherence to company standards in all aspects of CK operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management:
  • Plan, supervise, and optimize daily production workflows to meet demand across all outlets.
  • Ensure product quality meets the company’s standards.
  • Coordinate production schedules with raw material availability and optimize stock usage.
  • Inventory & Stock Management:
  • Manage inventory levels, placing stock orders based on production needs.
  • Ensure accurate stock movement, keeping records of stock going in and out.
  • Conduct regular stocktakes to maintain accurate inventory records and prevent discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock usage to minimize waste and ensure all stock is used efficiently.
  • Staff Supervision:
  • Manage and supervise the CK team, including scheduling, monitoring performance, and maintaining workplace discipline.
  • Provide training and guidance to new staff on SOPs, hygiene, and kitchen procedures.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, with all staff following health and safety guidelines.
  • Process Control & Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all production processes adhere to established SOPs.
  • Conduct quality checks at each stage of production and address any quality issues immediately.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and enhance productivity.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Prepare daily and monthly reports on production, inventory, and CK performance.
  • Document and address any operational issues or discrepancies in stock.
  • Report progress, challenges, and inventory levels to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience as a Supervisor in a Central Kitchen or F&B operations environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, production supervision, and kitchen SOPs.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and train a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to operational changes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position based at Sambal Bakar Malaya’s CK in Subang.
  • May require weekend or extended hours as needed.
