Position Title: Project Engineer

Industry: Security Industry (Fire Protection)

Location: Sungai Buloh

Job Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain appropriate relationships with customers, enabling the company to be active & leading, speedy response time, highly profitable, and excellent payment collection position at all times.
• External communication with customers, general contractor, supervision, design institute, and other construction units, manage site activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Internal communication and working closely with sales, engineering, procurement, and other departments to ensure the overall company objectives/performance are achieved.
• Prepare project documentation such as Project Plan, Technical Document, Material Document Submission, drawings, and OMM.
• Participate in the regular meetings of the project, allocate, arrange, and complete the relevant work on time according to the meeting requirements, and report daily or weekly progress at the site.
• Manage/Monitor/Track projects and control costs to ensure the project is completed on time within budget, contractual, and safety standards.
• Ensure submission of Progress claim and Invoicing customer.
• Ensure Ordering materials as per Project BOM and monitor/track the delivery schedule.
• Implement Safety measures to ensure all work is done safely.
• Familiar with and able to design Fire Alarm Systems, HSSD Systems, and Fire Protection Systems.
• Perform system configuration, testing, commissioning, and handing over to the client.
• Hand over to the service team upon the successful completion of the project.

Qualifications & Experiences Needed

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronic Engineering in mechanical engineering or equivalent (Fire Detection, ELV etc.)
• Above 1-3 years working experience on Construction or Building Technologies Industries and project management in related industries preferred.
• Familiar with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
• Good written in English and Bahasa and verbal communication skills with both internal and external.
• Strong team player and ability to multi-task.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay
