Duties & Responsibilities

  • Understand kitchen orders and works efficiently with team members
  • Prepare different foods required in the different Sections under the supervision of the Chef de Partie or Chef on duty
  • Communicate effectively with team member and Chef
  • Report any maintenance issues to Chef on duty promptly to avoid interruption of kitchen operation

Education/Experience

  • Min Qualification: Diploma/Certificate in Hospitality and Catering/Cookery/Culinary Health and Safety/Food Hygiene courses.
  • Min Experience: 1-3 years working in the kitchen assisting chefs in basic veg preps and/or plating responsibilities.
  • Understand kitchen orders and works efficiently with team members
  • Ability to prepare different foods required in the different Sections under the supervision of the Chef de Partie or Chef on duty
  • A good sense of taste and smell with knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety procedures
  • Able to work under pressure and a team player in the performance of cooking procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team member and Chef
