Domain: Banking & unit trust
Experience: 2-6 years of experience with UAT using JIRA

8. Understand the financial institution process, especially in the unit trust and the unit trust system.

Qualifications:
1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
2. More than two (2) years of experience in developing, creating, preparing, capturing, and strategizing test plans, test scenarios & test scripts.
3. Knowledge and experience in preparing/handling the test scenario and executing the test script according to the test plan.
4. Had experience in managing and monitoring the UAT using the JIRA system.
5. Having vast experience in banking & unit trust industries is preferred.
The role of the BSD Software Tester is including:
1. Understand Business Requirements of IT-related projects/system enhancements,
2. Design testing plan and User Acceptance Test (UAT) activity based on system functions and features
3. Develop a test scenario and test script
4. Identify and prepare test data
5. Perform the testing according to the UAT test plan and timeline.
6. Managing the UAT activities including performing the End of Day (EOD) activity, report generating, data requests from agents for internal testing, etc.
7. Confirm fix variance, prepare the UAT-related reports, and sign off the document
The scope of duty of the Software Tester consists:
1. Understand the requirements from the Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Business Requirement Specification (BRS), and Functional Specification Documents (FSD) for the modules assigned.
2. Conduct meetings with business users to review test scenarios & test scripts for a better understanding of the scope of the projects and business requirements.
3. Design and understand the test plan, test scenario & test script for UAT activities, based on defined testing requirements.
4. Plan, identify, and document the test data requirements for the UAT activity according to the testing requirements.
5. Upload the test script into the JIRA system and assign the test script to the respective tester (Business User).
6. Coordinate the testing and/or execute assigned test scripts and perform the testing within the agreed UAT timeline.
7. Document actual results and log variances resulting from the execution for each of the modules assigned.
8. Monitor the variance and retest once fixed.
9. Produced testing statistic reports for the daily updates & prepare the sign-off documents of the completed modules.
10. Timely escalations to the Test Manager/Project Manager if there are any show-stoppers or blockers.
11. Report to the respective Test Manager for all testing matters
12. Provide support among testers for the other test cases and test scenarios execution (if required).
13. To extend support to the Testers/Test Manager for the project review, walkthrough, and Training.
14. To highlight any clarifications, and dependencies, and co-ordinate with different teams on a need basis.
15. Deliverables:
- Test script Sign-Off documents.
- UAT test plan, test scenario, test script executions, UAT test result
- Testing statistic reports for daily updates & UAT sign-off document
Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
